The colors for the fabrics and yarns are hand dyed by the artist. These dyes come from flowers, roots, barks, fruits, berries, and leaves - some of which she has home-grown or hand-gathered. Each doll is unique, and special attention is given to custom detailing, especially in hand-embroidery on the faces and in design on the clothing.
