Product Guarantee
Taraluna guarantees all goods against defects as a result of workmanship. Any naturally occurring inconsistencies are a result of hand woven material, natural dyes or due to the handcrafting of our unique products. We cannot be responsible for damage occurring during shipping, please contact shipping agent.

Product Detail
Please be aware that most of our products are either handmade or may be produced in a manner in which there can be variation in the products (such as the use of hand weaving and natural dyes). Due to the nature of our products slight variations will be naturally occurring.

Products are described as accurately and appropriately as possible in order to ensure that a customer understands the product they are ordering. The descriptions, data, pictures, and information on our web site are intended to be accurate at time of upload to our site. All information is subject to change without notice. Photos are shown as a representation of the product only and may show optional features, colors, or variations that are not included.

Colors are represented as realistically as possible, but color variations of product images or color swatches are outside of our control because software, hardware and Internet connections can alter the appearance of colors.

While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of product and price information, errors do occasionally occur. We reserve the right to correct any errors or inaccuracies at any time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

There are certain coupons which are good for one use per customer and or household. We reserve the right to decide which coupons may be honored. Please note as well that certain coupons or discounts can only be used on regular priced items, if sale items are included in those orders the discount will be removed from already discounted items. We will notify shoppers prior to charging of the new invoice. All discounts are at our discretion, no discounts are guaranteed.

Gift Wrapping
We wrap most items in tissue paper, which makes a simple wrapping for most items - free of charge.

We would be happy to gift wrap your purchases with sustainable wrapping paper for an extra charge. Please note that gift wrapping is not offered on every item, if the item you choose does not offer gift wrapping it will be noted clearly on the order page. Gift wrapping prices are as follows:

Online Ordering
(24 hours a day, 7 days a week): Ordering online is safe, easy and convenient. Once you have decided upon a product or products, simply click on the "buy now" button. When you are done shopping, fill out all billing and shipping information and then submit your order.

Back Orders
In order to save on shipping costs, packaging and reduce our carbon footprint we strive to ship complete orders, so if a particular item is temporarily out of stock your order may be delayed. If an order will be delayed or if an item is out of stock, we will contact you to determine if you would like to wait for the item, cancel the backordered item or have it shipped separately.

Methods of Payment
We accept MasterCard and Visa credit cards, personal Checks and PayPal. Sorry, no CODs. If paying by personal check please allow three weeks for it to clear our bank, plus delivery time. All prices are in U.S. currency. If ordering online, you must pay by credit card or with PayPal.

California sales tax will be collected on all orders being shipped from California to addresses in California. If you will be required to pay sales tax, you will be alerted during the Checkout process before you actually submit the order.

Shipping Methods and Costs
Our standard shipping method is via USPS ground and FedEx for large or heavy packages. Please check the shipping address carefully at check-out. If you do not receive mail delivery to your home, please supply a PO Box. If an address is incorrect and we are able to catch it, we will notify you - this may delay shipping. Please note that we must pay shipping costs for each package shipped, if a package is returned due to an incorrect shipping address supplied by the customer, additional shipping charges are the customers responsibility. We want to ensure that your order reaches you promptly.

Shipping & Handling charges will automatically be added to your total at check out.

This chart is for standard shipping within the United States, US protectorates, APO and FPO military addresses. Please contact us to speak with a representative regarding special delivery options along with shipping and handling charges. Oversize and expedited packages may incur an additional charge.

NOTE: Most orders are shipped within 24 hours but may take one to seven business days from the date of receipt. We cannot guarantee overnight delivery from this area; if you choose 2nd day delivery or expedited shipping an additional charge will be incurred. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States. Please note that we cannot be responsible for damage occurring during shipping, please contact shipping agent.

To our Canadian and International Customers
We do ship to Canada and internationally but need weight to establish shipping charges. If you wish to make a purchase, simply email your desire to order and the items you would like. We will figure the shipping costs and inform you of the total cost, we will wait for your confirmation and at that time you can either order on our secure online store or we can get payment information by telephone. Due to increased fraud activity, we screen orders, particularly large overseas orders, and fulfill them on a per order basis, if we cannot verify cardholder or address we reserve the right not to process such orders that we feel may harm cardholders or Taraluna. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Customs, Duty and Import Tax
Taraluna cannot be responsible for any customs or duty charges on international shipments. Charges (if any) are determined by customs officials once the shipment has arrived in the country it is being shipped to. If you have questions or concerns about customs, please contact customs within your country to inquire as to regulations and costs.

Oversize Charges
Because some large items are bulky and heavy, our cost to ship them is higher than for other items. Therefore, we have added a delivery surcharge; this charge is stated in the product's description and is in addition to regular delivery charges.

Multiple Shipping Destinations
For multiple shipping addresses, a separate shipping and handling charge will be assessed based on the product total to each address

Recycled Packaging
In keeping with our mission to clean up the planet, we reuse boxes and packing materials that come into our store and use new boxes and mailing envelopes made of recycled material. Although we strive to use material that is 100% recycled, it is not always possible to obtain, in which case we use the highest recycled content available at the time of shipment. We use clean waste paper collected from local sources and 100% natural, corn-based, biodegradable "peanuts" to help protect your order during shipping.

Because our main shipping partner is the USPS the boxes we use for the bulk of our orders has '"Cradle to Cradle™ Certification" due to material content, recyclability and manufacturing characteristics. The US Postal Service is the first to receive this eco-friendly certification in the field of packaging.'

Our Return Policy is Simple
We want you to be happy with each and every purchase. Within 30 days of the date of invoice, you may return any item you purchased from Taraluna for a full refund of applicable charges or store credit provided:
*You notify us of your intention to return.
*Items are in original new condition with all materials, paperwork, and accessories intact.
*Items that are abused, broken, used, washed or damaged may not be returned. Please note that gift box charges and shipping charges are not refundable.

Please inspect goods upon delivery. Any damaged, incorrect or missing items should be reported to Taraluna immediately. All goods held by the customer for more than 30 days can not be returned. If you attempt to return an item after the 30 days has expired, please note that we may refuse to accept the package from the carrier, and/or may charge a restocking fee of up to 20% at our discretion. Please contact us early and return unwanted items promptly.

Restocking Fees:
*Handcrafted Baby Clothing and Toys
We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee for all of our baby clothing - please be sure that you are ordering the correct size, style, and color that you want. We will be happy to assist you so that you get the proper size and style for you. Please do not size up, these items are true to size.

*Improperly Handled Items
We also reserve the right to charge a restocking fee on any item that is not returned in the condition that we shipped it - if an item is wrinkled, has pet hair, tags removed (etc.) we reserve the right to either refuse the return completely or charge a restocking fee. Please take care when returning items, it is rare that we have a problem but we have been forced to take this stance due to a few bad apples. Simply use care with your returns and get them back before the due date to insure a full refund.

How to Return an Item
First Notify us by e-mail of your intention to return item. Include name, order number, order details and if you would prefer a refund or store credit. Return shipping is the responsibility or the buyer, for your protection we advise that you include insurance for the value of the item returned and a tracking number. We must be able to track your return in case of loss, we cannot refund lost returns.

Issuance of Credit:
If you purchased by credit card, your card will be credited for the full applicable amount within 10 business days of receipt of the returned merchandise. If you paid by check or money order, you will receive a check from Taraluna for the full applicable amount of the return by mail approximately 2-4 weeks after the returned product has been received. If you prefer a store credit you will be informed and store credit will be issued within 10 business days of receipt.

Taraluna has a very simple privacy policy; we will never sell trade, rent, exchange or otherwise share your personal information with any other company. Taraluna collects the following information from customers that order from our site: name, shipping address, billing address, e-mail address, telephone number and credit card information. This information is collected in order to fulfill orders. This information might also be used to send customers newsletters or emails about products and services offered on the site, information about fair trade, health or sustainability issues. We may occasionally post surveys on our site. Participation in surveys is entirely optional. We may ask survey participants for personal contact information, such as e-mail address, name, address, or telephone number which we may use to send participants information related to the survey. Submitting this information is completely optional to the customer. We will never sell, rent, or share your e-mail address, phone number or other personal information provided by you.

How and Why Does Taraluna Use Cookies?
