We want you to know that our products are socially responsible,
eco-friendly, organic, recycled, Fair Trade or otherwise green
and good for people and planet.
We
don't sell chemically infused, mass produced or sweatshop labor
products. We aren't some mega corporation just looking to make
a buck, we want to sell sustainable products to customers who
care how their purchases were made, and know that the workers
were treated fairly and with respect. We want to be your favorite
place to shop for Fair Trade Gifts and organic products. We
want our customers to be happy, to help create fair wage jobs,
to promote everything green and to make a living. We are just
trying to do the right thing and be the best we can so that
we can sleep well at night and do a great job during the day.
Not much, just trying to save the planet one purchase at a time,

We
offer a wonderful selection of some of the best there in fair
trade products and gifts. We mostly buy from non-profits and NGO's
that work directly with artisans, producers and co-operatives.
Many of our products have informational tags that tell about the
producer of your purchase. All of our fair trade items come from
businesses that meet the rigorous Fair Trade Federation policies
and are members of the FTF or Trans Fair. Taraluna is proud to
be an approved member of Green America (formerly Co-op America),
the Fair Trade Alliance and we have achieved Gold Level GenGreen
Certification: "Companies that scored above 75% on their
certification tests and are the highest level of approval available
within GenGreen. These companies have proven themselves exemplary
environmental stewards in their various business activities."
Some of the socially responsible and eco-friendly products we
offer are: beautiful Fair Trade hand-made jewelry, shoulder bags,
purses, totes, dolls, toys, accessories, stationery, kitchen décor,
tea sets, organic fair trade tea. We have hats, scarves, bracelets,
necklaces & earrings. We carry candles, spa treatments, gifts
and gift baskets. We have pretty wind chimes and garden décor,
organic baby gifts and natural cosmetics that benefit women worldwide.
We offer no-waste lunch systems: To-Go Ware, eco-lunchboxes and
bamboo utensils. Our products make perfect birthday presents,
housewarming gifts, baby shower, bridal shower, hostess gifts,
