Through sales of their products, artisans from nearly 100 small micro-producers—many family workshops located in small rural villages around Yogyakarta receive access to micro loans, training in financial management, design and marketing skills, and access to international markets to sell their crafts. A design center offers access to designers and training on new trends and production issues, and a social grant funds reforestation, waste treatment, and conservation of vital Indonesian resources.
